Snack Pack For The Homeless

Lesson learned in the rite aid parking lot in Boise over 10 years ago with my mom and dad. We gave this poor man 5 or 10 dollars and realized we probably just bought him another drink as we watched him go relieve himself on the brick wall of the store, Haha. It was about then we thought maybe a protein bar or burger from McDonalds may be the better choice. Derek and I always see them on the corners and drop them some spare change (despite the possible result of buying them a pack of smokes) or give them a protein bar if handy but more times than not we have no cash and no snack and are left knowing in our hearts we should do something but haven't. Today, we turned that around and filled around 30 bags of some food and toiletry  supplies so we could be ready to give something, as small as it really is, we hope it's blesses them.
Matthew 25
For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me. Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you? And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’
